Here are 2 fog lamps up for sale. I got a bunch of these is a local auction. This set is 35watt 6 volt but since they arent grounded (2 wires on each) you can wire them in series and they will work on 12 volt systems!  They would look cool on any 30's 40's or 50's car truck or rat rod. 4 1/2 bulb and 5 in aver all size and approx 2 1/2 thick. THE CHROME IS PERFECT ON THESE. They also have cloth wire. These arent the diffused type lense, its clear they have the European look to them also have a center diffuser. I couldnt get a pic with out getting a reflection in the lens of the fog light. Anything that looks strange is just a reflection. Thanks!! Wire color may vary.

Mercedes SLS AMG: F1 Safety Car 2010

Sat, 27 Feb 2010

The Mercedes SLS AMG will be the F1 safety car in 2010 The new F1 season is close to kicking off, and we’ll get round to doing a preview of what’s happening at the start of the 2010 season once we’ve got Geneva out of the way (at least the first bit of Geneva  - the F1 season starts on 14th March in Bahrain so we’ll need to get round to it before then). But one bit of news that isn’t team or driver related is the announcement that the safety car for 2010 will be the Mercedes SLS AMG, replacing the car that’s done the job for the last two years – the Mercedes SL63 AMG. Surprisingly, the SLS AMG is the most powerful car ever to be used as a safety car in F1.

Ford door protector takes the sting out of dings

Thu, 22 Sep 2011

Nothing ruins car joy like a door ding--whether it's the first blemish on your pride and joy or the latest door divot. Now, the engineers at Ford in Europe have developed a way to take the sting out of the parking lot--a retractable door-edge protector for the Ford Focus. It's no surprise that this comes from Europe, where roads are narrow and parking spaces are squeezed tight.

Alfa Romeo 4C Spider revealed: Geneva Motor Show

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider (pictured) revealed in Geneva The Alfa Romeo 4C is the epitome of a modern ‘supercar’, with ultra light weight (for a production car) allowing the 4C to produce very good performance from its modest 17500cc engine. So producing an Spider convertible immediately raises the weight issue in a more dramatic way when the car’s abilities are so dependent on it low weight, but it seems the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider – previewed as a production car with a concept at Geneva today – has managed to keep the wight penalties of the convertible 4C down to a minimum. Thanks to a canvas roof and carbon fibre rollover bars, the weight penalty for the Spider is only about 60kg (around a 7 per cent gain) which shouldn’t hurt performance too much.
