Here is a very cool vintage Johnson A-25 outboard boat motor.  I ran the serial number S1919 and it showed it was a 1926.  And they made 14,417 that year.  It showed it was a twin cylinder opposing cylinder 2.5 hp engine.  This has been in storage for probably longer then I am old.  It is not locked up, and it feels like it has good compression.  Has both old looking spark plugs.  Aluminum gas tank has some smaller dents in it as you can see.  Motor needs a good cleaning and scrubbing.  But I will let you do that.  This is straight out of the barn with a quick wash job, and snapped some pics and got it listed.  The fuel petcock turns easily.  I seen the top clamp on the shaft which helps hold the pivot that would attach to the boat.  Where the bolts that pulls that clamp tight, it is chipped out on the receiving end.  It is made of aluminum and the outside of the clamp cracked and broke off, where the treads are for the bolt.  Somebody probably just overtighten that bolt.  But I am sure it could you a restoration job like anything of this age.  Or just get it running and use it like it is.  Still cool either way I think.  I ship world wide, if it is not to big to ship outside the US or Canada.  If you live outside the US or Canada ask for a shipping quote before bidding or buying, and we will figure shipping costs and to make sure it is not to big to ship to you first.  This is sold as is, all sales are final.  Sold in unknown working order.  Check out my other listings,  I have some other old Johnson boat motors I might sell too.  This will be packed up good to prevent damage6

Thanks

2000s supercars

Tue, 15 Jul 2008

By Tim Pollard and Ben Oliver 15 July 2008 12:41 Supercars in the Noughties They say power can corrupt, but the horsepower race raged well into the current decade. Ferrari built the Enzo, Porsche the Carrera GT and then came the car that trumped them all: the Bugatti Veyron. The definitive hypercar once again moved the goalposts – although this time, we suspect they’ll remain moved forever.

'Grand Bentley' preview (Video)

Thu, 11 Jun 2009

Bentley is teasing us with a preview video of its forthcoming 'Grand Bentley', which shows only sections of the car's flowing shoulder, hood and grille. The all-new new car, which will debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance this summer, is claimed to be 'exceptional in all respects on the road' as well as 'the purest expression of the Bentley spirit'. It has been designed, engineered and built in Crewe, England and will be the replacement for the aging Arnage.

SEAT Altea XL

Fri, 25 Aug 2006

Two years after the Seat Altea hatchback was launched comes the extended XL version, which effectively becomes a mini-MPV thanks to a 187mm increase in length. This of course benefits the interior most, the trunk growing from 409 liters to 635 with the rear bench pushed forward - though is conspicuously without the extra row of seats offered by rivals. Outside, changes are most noticeable at the rear where the styling theme has been softened to reflect the car's renewed family-focus.
