Vintage, Antique, Large Bullet (egg?)-shaped Truck Head Light! on 2040-parts.com
Edgecomb, Maine, United States
Totally awesome, LARGE, old truck headlamp with mounting bracket attached (Removable). My guess, based on color (red) and shape, an old firetruck headlamp. If I keep it, I plan to buy a clear lense (7" diameter) and wire it with an on/off toggle, make a flexible arm and stand for it, and have one COOL table light! But would also make neat ratrod addition. NO ROT! Some rust, though the red/black patina looks super cool and is the result of 80 years of weathering. I will leave it if I turn it into a lamp and simply spray a few layers of gloss lacquer on it.

But looking at the reviews that have come along since we seemed to be in line with everyone else.
Mercedes SLS Gullwing – images and news
Mon, 02 Mar 2009No, the Mercedes Benz SLS Gullwing (which we all thought was going to be called the Mercedes SLC – but we were wrong!) is not showing at Geneva 2009. But that hasn’t stopped Mercedes from doing a bit of a spoiler for the show on the day before press day by releasing testing images of a disguised car, together with some solid information, instead of all the speculation we’ve been indulging in. Mercedes Benz SLS AMG in a UK Car showroom near you - but not until 2010!
