Up for bid is a vintage Royal Automobile Club Associate emblem hood ornament/ mascot.

On the bottom portion it looks like a number was stamped, but it has worn down, so I cannot read it.

Stamped on the back top portion is: PROPERTY OF R.A.C.  There is also a stamp on the bottom back portion, but it is too small to see. 

Application: This would be a nice accessory for any club member or collector. Please do your own research.  

Condition: This is in good condition. There are some spots of surface finish loss, as well as some enamel loss on the center British flag portion. There are no cracks or breaks. The center flag emblem has a small bend on the top side edge, but you can't see this from the front view. The back looks very good. The threaded stud is nice and solid.

Mercedes CLA employs a cat in new advert to demonstrate its aerodynamic shape (video)

It’s the Mercedes CLA sliding cat advert We’re not entirely sure that Mercedes has chosen to focus attention on a cat in a new advert for the CLA to dig at Jaguar’s mickey-take of its chicken advert for Magic Body Control, but it’s definitely the cat that’s front and centre, regardless of the motivation. With the new Mercedes CLA boasting exceptional aerodynamic credentials, Mercedes has employed a stunt cat to slide up and over the CLA to demonstrate just how slippery their new compact saloon is. Already shown on TV in the UK at the weekend (during the new series of Britain’s Got Talent), the moggie in question – William, apparently – glides effortlessly over the CLA’s slippery shape to a soundtrack playing Rossini’s Duetto buffo di due gatti (which you may not think you know, but you do).

General Motors says its EN-V concept might be tested in large cities

General Motors is working on a second generation of its EN-V electric-car concept and might test the two-seat, pod-shaped vehicle in large cities around the world. The EN-V will wear the Chevrolet badge. It is designed to communicate with other vehicle and city infrastructure to minimize congestion.
