Great set of universal (?) vinyl woven front bench seat covers. Listed as used only because of age but they are new old stock still in the box. The back is 48" long, 20" tall and 5 1/2" wide at the bead. The seat is 52" long, 20" tall and 10 1/2" deep. Not sure what type vehicle they are for. Sold as is. New Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition kicks off new Qashqai sales The new Nissan Qashqai has only just been revealked, and Nissan are starting sales in the UK and Europe with a special, high spec limited edition Qashqai – the Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition. The Qashqai Premier is limited to 2007 cars – denoting the year the Qashqai was originally launched – and will be available only to existing Nissan customers. The Qashqai Premier gets based on the Tekna spec but gets extra equipment.

Mercedes fixes diesel injector problems

Mercedes say that a new injector system for C Class and E Class diesels with the OM651 engine have now been fixed. So extensive was the problem that many owners were waiting months for their cars to be fixed as Mercedes struggled with a mounting pile of broken cars and injectors that were failing. Mercedes tell us that the problem was fixed with the release of new injectors later in 2010, but Cars UK readers have continued to complain about their cars needing multiple visits to dealers with injectors failing multiple times (that original story garnered more than 500 comments from disgruntled Mercedes owners).

U.S. offers advance peek at 'cash for guzzlers' rules

Dealers participating in the "cash for guzzlers" program must visit www.cars.gov to find a list of facilities that may qualify for scrapping vehicles and then make sure the company can crush or shred trade-ins, according to preliminary rules on the Web site. The government posted the rules today for the program, designed to lift U.S. light-vehicle sales from 27-year lows.
