Vintage 1920's Automobile Trunk or Fender Side Tool Box
- Every aspect of this box says "Heavy Steel Construction"
- Elegant rounded edges with armored steel corners and beaded top and bottom edge lip.
- Features sturdy riveted and spot welded steel.
- Starting out with only minor surface rust originally, this box has been carefully sand blasted and recoated in primer.
- Hinges are solidly constructed and move with ease as does the lock hasp.
- There are small (1" long or so) dents and and bends which can be repaired easily with dolly and hammer or left as is.
- I suspect this box came from the front fender of a late 20's to early 30's Studebaker Erskine Sedan, but I am not certain.
- Dimensions are: 19 long x 11-1/4 high x 10 deep. Four 3/8" mounting holes 16-3/4" x 7" square
- Weighs approx. 18 lbs.
- Put a lock on the hasp and never worry about anyone prying open this beast!
- Originally I was going to use this as my Ford's tool storage but have decided to sell instead.

Not a catchy moniker perhaps, but the new car has been built to commemorate 15 years of the Caterham Driving Experience (CDX) – the track days where you can drift or slalom a Seven. As well as the gloss black paint, plus decals along the sides mimicking the CDX cars, the big news is the return of the K-series powerplant delivering 135bhp through a five-speed ‘box.
