VINTAGE BARRECRAFTERS ADJUSTABLE CAR ROOF SKI CARRIER RACK with KEY The racks are 41 inches overall length. 16" clamping area(will hold skis or snowboards) Lightweight aluminum. Feet are width adjustable and sit on the roof, however I am not sure how they attach to the vehicle(these are from an estate sale, so I am not familiar). 1 key included. Sat, 12 May 2012Carroll Shelby Car racer, car maker and all round car legend, Carroll Shelby has died in Dallas at the age of 89 after a life lived to the full. We have but one life and it’s our duty to live it the best we can. Carroll Shelby certainly did that.
Jaguar C-X16 WON’T be the Jaguar XE
Wed, 07 Mar 2012Jaguar C-X16 won't be the Jaguar XE It’s been revealed that the new smaller sport car from Jaguar – the C-X16 Concept – won’t be called the Jaguar XE. The Jaguar C-X16 Concept – a new smaller sports car based on the next generation XK platform – was revealed at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, and although we were a little underwhelmed with the design – there is nothing wrong with it, it just didn’t seem to move Jaguar’s design language on – we loved what was on offer. What we did think – in common with just about everyone else – is that Jaguar would make their new Sports car the Jaguar XE, evoking memories of the original E-Type in the process and fitting in with the current Jaguar nomenclature quite well.
Cadillac plans dealer, consumer support for CUE infotainment system
Wed, 09 May 2012General Motors is taking a page from Apple's Genius Bar tech-support program as its Cadillac brand rolls out a new infotainment system. GM is requiring Cadillac dealers to designate two employees as certified CUE specialists--one in sales, the other in service--as experts to walk customers through the system known as the Cadillac User Experience, or CUE. GM also plans to hire 25 service representatives that it will scatter across its largest markets to field questions from both dealers and customers.
