This is a vintage BMW leather jacket. Men's US large. Color: dark blue. 4 Buttons from the bottom, midway up the jacket, covered by a leather flap. Based on the style of the jacket, I'd say it was made in the 80's, but your guess is s good as mine.
There is a hole in the left elbow, as seen in the photos. There is a scuff on the right front, below the breast. Also, the insides of the cuffs have considerable sweat stains that may need to be dry cleaned.
I'm not the original owner of this jacket, nor have I used it. I'm simply passing it on to someone who can appreciate it.

'Monster' Tajima breaks his own record at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Mon, 27 Jun 2011Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima used the extra pavement to his advantage and smashed his old Pikes Peak International Hill Climb record by more than 10 seconds on June 26, with a finishing time of 9 minutes, 51.278 seconds. Tajima's old record of 10 minutes, 1.408 seconds was set in 2007. Hyundai driver Rhys Millen came in second in the Unlimited class with a time of 10 minutes, 9.24 seconds.
Penske said to be considering bid for GM's Saturn
Tue, 05 May 2009Roger Penske is considering a bid for General Motors' Saturn brand, a source familiar with the auto entrepreneur's plans said today. Penske is studying the issue but has made no proposals, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Penske, whose Penske Automotive Group dealership chain distributes Daimler AG's Smart microcars in the United States, is the second entity known to have an interest in Saturn.
Chris Bangle begins work with Changan Automobile on its design strategy and methodology
Mon, 31 Mar 2014Chris Bangle is to consult with Changan Automobile to help develop its design strategy and processes in his first official automotive project since leaving BMW in 2009. Bangle – through his company Chris Bangle Associates (CBA) – will work with Changan's team in its European design center in Turin, Italy, reporting to design director Chen Zheng. And while his role will be linked to the brand's Chinese products, his focus will be on the design team's methodologies and philosophy; its management and its process of critique, rather than the hands-on design of its products.
