As you can see from my other postings, cleaning out some of dad's vintage car related stuff. Not sure what this may have fit....for British cars Dad had a 1960 Hillman Husky and a 1956 Austin Healey.  Also no idea if it works.  If there is a way that I can test it let me know. Sorry, e-bay does not allow international shipping for this category for some reason. All priority mail auctions now insured to $50.

Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy grabs Nurburgring Record

Fri, 17 Jun 2011

Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy and the Nurburgring crew First we get the news that Renault has pushed out a limited edition Megane Renaulsport – the Megane Renaulsport 265 Trophy with a slightly tweaked and titivated version of the Megane Renaultsport 250 – and now we get the follow-up publicity with the claim of a new Nurburgring record for the brisk Megane. This isn’t a record that’s quite as daft as some of the records that are claimed for the Nurburgring (there almost seems to be a specific category of ‘Record’ time to fit every car maker’s needs), but it does seem a bit obscure. It’s the Nurburgring record for the fastest production front wheel drive car.

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe UK: Price, Spec, new photos & video

Thu, 04 Oct 2012

With the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe about to go on sale (October 15th) we have new UK photos and video and full Santa Fe details. So with the new Santa Fe about to go on sale we though we’d update the details and publish new photos and video for the UK (although there are no swooning beauties in the UK Santa Fe Video – unlike the Dutch one). Hyundai say that their aim with the new Santa Fe was to build on the existing package (which, let’s face it, was a cheap alternative to the offerings from the likes of BMW, Land Rover et al) but add in better looks, better technology and lower running costs.

Concept Car of the Week: Nissan ARC-X (1987)

Fri, 05 Oct 2012

In the mid to late 1980s Japan's car industry was booming and with it its confidence. No longer satisfied with producing brilliantly engineered but worthy cars, Japanese manufacturers had ambitions of taking on the Europeans in the luxury market. Nissan made its intentions clear at the 1987 Tokyo motor show with the ARC-X concept.
