Vintage Buco left-hand fiberglass motorcycle saddlebag with lid and steel mounting plate. This bag measures 5" wide and 10 1/2" tall with the lid on and about 19" long overall. Weight is about 3 pounds. The third photo shows the worst spot on the fiberglass. It's on the side facing the motorcycle, about 1/4" x 1", along the lower edge. It can also be seen in the second photo. If you tried I think you could stick the point of a pencil through. Overall scuffs and scrapes and dirt but no cracks seen. Photo shows a line of six 1/8" diameter holes along the middle of the bottom. The lid closure works as designed but there is no key to lock it. The fiberglass and the steel rivets are marked Buco. The red plastic Stimsonite tail-light is scuffed but not cracked. Metal parts are rusty, rubber seals are torn and dried up. The steel mounting plate has been altered by a previous owner but still fits the two mounting studs. Shipping from Ohio to California is $15, may be less if closer.

Aston Martin announces new Zagato collaboration

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Aston Martin's history with Zagato goes back to the luscious DB4 GT Zagato of 1960. Since then, we've seen Milanese interpretations of the DB7 and V12 Vantage, both of which, like the DB4, wound up as limited-production runs. These two cars are a little different.

Auctioned Ferrari Dinos fetch more than £380,000

Mon, 26 May 2014

TWO FERRARI Dino cars have sold for a combined £383,000 during the same auction, despite one of them needing significant restoration. The model has in recent years become a golden goose for any owners lucky enough to have acquired one years ago, and the latest Silverstone Auctions sale shows what a cash cow even poor condition examples have become. A recently-restored 1971 Dino topped £250,000 inclusive of its buyer's premium, while the rusting form of a 1973 version still brought about a £132,500 sale.

Vorsteiner offers aero package for Ferrari 599

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

The Ferrari 599 is on its way out; we saw its striking replacement, the F12 Berlinetta, at the Geneva motor show. But Los Angeles-based tuner Vorsteiner isn't quite ready to let go. To infuse the “old” grand tourer with new life, Vorsteiner created a new aero kit, wheel package and exhaust system to set it apart from your run-of-the-mill Prancing Horse.
