“Very clean vintage pair of finned aluminum valve covers for Buick Nailhead engines. There are no makings on these covers other than "Buick" cast on the inside as shown. I believe these are early Edelbrock units. These came from an old hot rodder. I was told they came off a 425 engine. I believe this fit many Buick nailhead engines. Please confirm your specific application. These covers are in very good condition as shown. They are very clean with some light nicks and scratches from decades of storage. They could be used as is or would clean up even better with a little time. Kia Track'ster concept car (2012) first official photos

Kia will show the new Track'ster at the 2012 Chicago motor show. It's a concept car designed to show what a harder, faster Kia Soul hatch could be like. Scant information is available at present, but Kia has confirmed the Track'ster was designed by Kia's Californian studio, led by Tom Kearns - and today it issued a new photograph of the Track'ster, after last week's design sketch.

Third Tesla Model S catches fire

Update: According to an Automotive News report, "NHTSA said it will contact local authorities about the latest fire 'to determine if there are vehicle safety implications that merit agency action.'" The agency had previously backed away from an investigation after determining that vehicle defects were not to blame for the fire in early October. Just after Tesla Motors reported a $38 million third-quarter loss and within a few weeks of two other car fires, a third Model S sedan reportedly burned on the highway near Smyrna, Tenn. The Tesla Motors Club forum supplied photos of the crash, which occurred around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, in addition to intense speculation on the cause of the fire.
