Up for bid is this Vintage Bullet Style Racing Side Mirror, Rat Rod.  It came from a Volvo 1800s 1966. Perfect for restoration, some light bubbling / Pitting, however there is no metal showing from under the chrome. There is no rust, it is in good used vintage condition. Mirror adjustment moves easily.  Mirror in good useable order.  Needs a good clean.  Comes with the Black Plastic gasket that goes between the car and the mirror.  Please see all the pictures for the best description (last is example of correct placement), and thanks for looking!!!

London rush hour 'worst in UK'

ANALYSIS of in-car telematics data has revealed that London commuters get the worst deal in rush hour, with average speeds 30% slower than those across other British cities. The study of 20 million miles of telematics data by Direct Line Drive Plus shows that despite London having more congestion-fighting measures than anywhere else in the country, its road-based commuters suffer worse peak time traffic misery than anywhere else. During peak times, cars in Westminster travel at an average speed of just 10.06mph, compared to a figure of 14.38mph across the biggest British cities.

Land Rover adds warranty program on pre-owned vehicles

Land Rover has add a warranty program for certified pre-owned-vehicle buyers in North America. Beginning on Oct. 1, Land Rover Select CPO buyers get a six-year/100,000-mile warranty, 24-hour roadside assistance, a 150-point inspection and no deductible on their vehicles.

Subaru has revealed the new XV at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, taking the company into the compact crossover segment for the first time. Like its concept precursor, the XV features a hexagonal grille and 'hawk eye' headlamps, designed to emphasize the vehicle's brand identity. Alloy wheels and cut-away cladding also aim to give the car a distinctive feel.
