Vintage Car Cuf Industries Steel Ignition Locking Guard 1970s Anti-theft Device on 2040-parts.com
Glenolden, Pennsylvania, United States
Up for auction is a vintage anti-theft device for your car or truck. This is called the Car Cuf and the purpose is to lock around your steering column to cover your ignition. This was made in the 1970s. I can not put an exact date on this however the patent was approved in the late 1970s while this version shows patent pending. It says it will fit American car from 1969 and up however I can not gurantee it will fit your classic car or truck. This is the only version sold or unsold on eBay that has the plastic guards however mine only has three of the five guards. The Car Cuf is made of aluminum with a steel locking bar. The last picture is for reference only.
