The Subaru Trezia When we got news that Subaru were taking their half of the Toyobaru project to Geneva – the Subaru FT-86 – for its first public outing, we did mention that there would also be another Subaru launch – the Subaru Trezia. So we thought we ought to enlighten you a bit. Toyota recalls 35,000 cars

CA MAKER Toyota is recalling more than 35,000 UK cars after it discovered faults that could deactivate airbags, cause seats to move while driving or, in a rarer case that involves undue force, break steering columns. The three separate issues affect some RAV4, Hilux, Yaris and Urban Cruiser models, Toyota said. The Japanese company said there had been no reports of accidents, injuries or fatalities linked to the issues from anywhere in the world, but it was recalling the 35,124 UK-registered vehicles in line with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) code of practice.

Ford has unveiled its new Everest SUV concept at a Go Further event in Sydney, Australia. It's set to challenge other cars such as Holden's Colorado 7 and the Mitsubishi Challenger. Created by Ford's Australian design and production development team, the concept – a seven-seat version of the Ranger ute (pickup) – previews an SUV that's likely to be on sale within the next two years.
