Vintage Carter fuel filter in very good clean condition with original paint, glass bowl and filter element in place. This buried in my garage from my Dad's car project long age in a box of items all marked good. May have been used in a 50's Pontiac at the time, great for a era correct restoration or even a Rat Rod project. There are no stripped treads, no bowl damage, gasket in place, filter good and the large thumb screw moves well with a screw driver. Shipping worldwide, ask questions and thank you for looking.

Tesla teases Model S prior to debut

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Prior to its world debut on March 26, Tesla has decided to whet the appetites of green-car fans by releasing a teaser image of its upcoming Model S sedan. Under the direction of former Mazda designer Franz von Holzhausen, the Model S features a rounded front nose, a front fender plate with an affixed Tesla emblem and a noticeably shorter hoodline. Unlike the Fisker Karma, the Model S will be powered solely on battery propulsion and do without a range-extending engine, which helps accommodate the shorter hood.

But opponents say improving existing roads around Newport would be cheaper as well as kinder to the environment.
