Drink driving deaths UP by 25%

Drink-drive related road deaths rose by 25% last year, with a staggering one in six fatalities on the UK’s roads connected to alcohol consumption, according to the latest government figures. Department for Transport (DfT) data revealed that 290 people lost their lives through drink-drive crashes during 2012, marking a significant increase from the 230 individuals killed in 2011. 'James Bond' Aston Martin to be auctioned

THE ASTON Martin most closely associated with James Bond is to go to auction next month. The DB5, an example of which featured in 1964’s movie Goldfinger, where it was driven by Sean Connery’s Bond, is perhaps the most recognisable ‘Bond car’. The car featured again more recently, this time with Daniel Craig’s Bond behind the wheel in the blockbuster Skyfall.
