This posting is for TWO (2) 15" diameter hubcaps, with a mounting diameter in the back of 13 1/2". They appear to be in acceptable working conditions. These have some small dings, dents and scratches due to many years of being on the roads. However, these do not have any major damage. A couple of the spokes appear to be slightly bent. I DO NOT CLAIM FOR THESE TO BE IN PERFECT CONDITION. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND BE THE JUDGE, AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. The price is for the set of two. Driver prefer atlas to sat-nav
Wed, 02 Jul 2014SATELLITE NAVIGATION may have become an integral part of many drivers’ daily routine, three quarters of the UK’s motorists (76%) say they still prefer to use a road atlas to plan journeys. Drivers in a survey by the AA said they found an atlas more useful to give an overview of a journey. While satellite navigation systems are useful, a further 65% of drivers said they still use an atlas to check the sat-nav is selecting the best route.
Porsche is developing a new four-cylinder engine set to power entry-level model
Mon, 05 Sep 2011High-ranking officials at Porsche's Weissach research and development center in Germany have confirmed that engineering work is progressing on a four-cylinder horizontally opposed gasoline engine, details of which were first revealed by Autoweek earlier this year. The new boxer unit--which is earmarked to power a new mid-engine, entry-level model that insiders describe as a spiritual successor to the iconic 550 Spyder--looks set to become an integral part of Porsche's future model plans. Insiders suggest it will also be offered on the third-generation Boxster and the second-generation Cayman later on in their respective model cycles.
