Here we have a Vintage Racing Jacket that is from the personal collection of the Very Famous former Head of the Speciality Vehicle Division of General Motors ~ JON MOSS! This Particular Jacket is embroidered on the front with a Corvette Logo and on the back of the Jacket it is Blank. It was made on a King Louie Jacket and is a size XXL. Coming from Jon's personal collection this Jacket was well taken care of and probably only worn 1 or 2 times (if ever) at the event it was given to him and then it has been sitting in his basement ever since making this a VERY Unique Item! Some of the Jackets I will be offering here were VERY LIMITED EDITION to begin with and some were made for the Important people at each particular event and were generally NOT AVAILABLE to people outside this inner circle and NOT to the Public! I am unsure which ones are the Rarest ones but I am offering them all here for sale. Now you may be asking yourself, just Who is Jon Moss? I did some investigating and found out that he had his hand in some of the GREATEST Vehicles ever to come out of the GM Special design team. His BIGGEST claim to fame in my book is his Concept Vehicle that later became the 1994-1996 Impala SS. That is just the tip of the iceberg from what he has done. Infiniti's 2013 luxury EV: the teaser sketch
Mon, 27 Sep 2010Infiniti has released a teaser sketch of its upcoming electric vehicle. Revealed at the opening of Infiniti’s second UK dealership, at Piccadilly in London, the single image previews a ‘luxury’ EV that Infiniti promises will be launched in 2013. Underneath it’s essentially a Nissan Leaf, but as you can see from the sketch it won’t look like a re-nosed Nissan.
Mazda MX-5 Kuro Special Editions
Thu, 28 Jun 2012Mazda has released yet another special edition MX-5 for the UK market in the guise of the Mazda MX-5 Kuro. Yes, it’s yet another special edition MX-5, this time the Mazda MX-5 Kuro which comes as either a 1.8 litre soft top or a 2.0 litre Roadster Coupe. It seems the Japanese like the idea of ‘Black’ Special Edition cars as much as we do in the West (Kuro means black in Japanese), with the last ‘Kuro’ special being the Nissan Juke Kuro. But oddly Mazda are offering the MX-5 Kuro not just in black but also in Velocity Red Mica and Crystal White Pearlescent, with the ‘Kuro’ bits referring to the Brilliant Black roof, door mirrors and dark gunmetal 17″ alloys.
Honda's future plans cut Acura TSX platform
Mon, 03 Jun 2013The future of Acura's TSX appears uncertain as Honda Motor prepares to abandon the platform used for the compact sedan. Acura boss Jeff Conrad says the TSX will remain in the lineup "for the foreseeable future." But when Acura moved into the entry-luxury segment with the ILX last year it jammed up its sedan lineup -- both in terms of vehicle sizes and pricing ladders. The ILX and aging TSX are positioned close to each other, as are the TSX and mid-sized TL.
