Here we have a Vintage Racing Jacket that is from the personal collection of the Very Famous former Head of the Speciality Vehicle Division of General Motors ~ JON MOSS! This Particular Jacket is embroidered on the front with a Red Chevy Bowtie Logo And says Chevrolet and on the back of the Jacket it is Blank. It was made on a Design Technology Jacket and is a size XL. Coming from Jon's personal collection this Jacket was well taken care of and probably only worn 1 or 2 times (if ever) at the event it was given to him and then it has been sitting in his basement ever since making this a VERY Unique Item! Some of the Jackets I will be offering here were VERY LIMITED EDITION to begin with and some were made for the Important people at each particular event and were generally NOT AVAILABLE to people outside this inner circle and NOT to the Public! I am unsure which ones are the Rarest ones but I am offering them all here for sale.

Now you may be asking yourself, just Who is Jon Moss? I did some investigating and found out that he had his hand in some of the GREATEST Vehicles ever to come out of the GM Special design team. His BIGGEST claim to fame in my book is his Concept Vehicle that later became the 1994-1996 Impala SS. That is just the tip of the iceberg from what he has done. Here are some of his projects in no particular order:

600 Horsepower Camaro

770 Horsepower ZL1 Camaro

1700 Horsepower Twin-Turbo Monte Carlo

1996 Coolside Pickup & Coolside II

Silverado SS

Jon Moss Signature 2006 Silverado 1500 Regency RST Edition

As a Bonus Option for an ADDITIONAL Charge I can get this item AUTOGRAPHED by Jon Moss! Please however be advised that this will cause a significant delay in shipping while I track Jon down to sign it so PLEASE do not give me bad marks on my feedback for delayed shipping when I do this for you. Thanks alot.

I hooked up with Jon Moss and was asked to help sell off some of the RARE and privately owned items that he has aquired over his many years working for General Motors. As such, I can only go by what I was told on the condition of all these items and therefore must sell everything AS-IS. I will do everything in my power to accurately describe the items and will answer any question about them if I can. Please look at my other auctions for more items that are currently on consignment for sale from the personal collection of Jon Moss with new items to be added all the time.

Please ask me any questions that you might have BEFORE you bid. S/H is a Flat $9.99 in the Lower 48 Via Priority Mail.  I reserve the right to ship USPS, UPS or FED-EX as my choice unless told otherwise. Being that this is a Pre-Owned item, it is being sold AS-IS! Payment must be made within 10 days of the auctions end. Non-paid items will be relisted & appropiate feedback will be left. Thanks. Movie review: Cars 2 offers more layers than a good paint job

Mon, 20 Jun 2011

There is layer upon layer of intricate detail in the movie Cars 2, the sequel to the successful 2006 Pixar release Cars. So much detail, in fact, that you might want to wait until the DVD comes out so that you can freeze the frames and pick out all of the subtle automotive styling cues that abound within. But go see the movie.

RCA students to reinterpret classic cars for Salon Privé

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

Salon Privé is the rather pretentious-sounding UK concours d'elégance that models itself on the likes of Pebble Beach and Villa d'Este. This year the event has something that really piques our interest – a design contest, judged by some of the world's top designers. Ten Students from the nearby Royal College of Art have been tasked with reinterpreting a previous cars entered into the show for a competition named Concours of the Future.

Saab gets approval for voluntary reorganization on appeal

Wed, 21 Sep 2011

...and Victor Muller smiles Victor Muller never says die, and the news that Saab has, after all, been granted the right to court protection from its creditors for a period of reorganisation has vindicated his stubborn refusal to give up on Saab. The Court of Appeal in Gothenburg has this morning overturned an earlier judgement by the District Court in Vänersborg which rejected Saab’s application to get the court’s protection during a period of ‘reorganisation’, which you can read as ‘Waiting for the dosh to arrive from China’. The news last week that Rachel Pang – a director of Pang Da, one of Saab’s putative investors – has come out in a very bullish way about the prospects for the investment by Pang Da and Youngman getting the final rubber stamp from China’s NDRC in Beijing won’t have harmed Saab’s case one bit.
