Here we have a Vintage Racing Jacket that is from the personal collection of the Very Famous former Head of the Speciality Vehicle Division of General Motors ~ JON MOSS! This Particular Jacket is embroidered on the front with a Red Chevy Bowtie Logo and on the back of the Jacket it is Blank. It was made on a American Made Sportware Jacket and is a size XL. Coming from Jon's personal collection this Jacket was well taken care of and probably only worn 1 or 2 times (if ever) at the event it was given to him and then it has been sitting in his basement ever since making this a VERY Unique Item! Some of the Jackets I will be offering here were VERY LIMITED EDITION to begin with and some were made for the Important people at each particular event and were generally NOT AVAILABLE to people outside this inner circle and NOT to the Public! I am unsure which ones are the Rarest ones but I am offering them all here for sale.

Now you may be asking yourself, just Who is Jon Moss? I did some investigating and found out that he had his hand in some of the GREATEST Vehicles ever to come out of the GM Special design team. His BIGGEST claim to fame in my book is his Concept Vehicle that later became the 1994-1996 Impala SS. That is just the tip of the iceberg from what he has done. Here are some of his projects in no particular order:

600 Horsepower Camaro

770 Horsepower ZL1 Camaro

1700 Horsepower Twin-Turbo Monte Carlo

1996 Coolside Pickup & Coolside II

As a Bonus Option for an ADDITIONAL Charge I can get this item AUTOGRAPHED by Jon Moss! Please however be advised that this will cause a significant delay in shipping while I track Jon down to sign it so PLEASE do not give me bad marks on my feedback for delayed shipping when I do this for you. Thanks alot.

I hooked up with Jon Moss and was asked to help sell off some of the RARE and privately owned items that he has aquired over his many years working for General Motors. As such, I can only go by what I was told on the condition of all these items and therefore must sell everything AS-IS. I will do everything in my power to accurately describe the items and will answer any question about them if I can. Please look at my other auctions for more items that are currently on consignment for sale from the personal collection of Jon Moss with new items to be added all the time.

Please ask me any questions that you might have BEFORE you bid. S/H is a Flat $9.99 in the Lower 48 Via Priority Mail.  I reserve the right to ship USPS, UPS or FED-EX as my choice unless told otherwise. Being that this is a Pre-Owned item, it is being sold AS-IS! Payment must be made within 10 days of the auctions end. Non-paid items will be relisted & appropiate feedback will be left. Thanks. Hennessey Venom GT hits new, unofficial, speed record (video)

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

The Hennessey Venom GT (pictured) hist 270.49mph on a NASA runway Top speed records for production cars is starting to seem pretty irrelevant as there’s almost nowhere an owner can ever hope to hit those record speeds. And the performance of cars like the new McLaren P1 – where  performance and handling are much more the focus than outright top speed – has added the the irrelevance. But that doesn’t stop some car makers aiming for the bragging rights of the world’s fastest production car, and John Hennessey and his Hennessey Venom GT are back with another claim on the title.

Concept Car of the Week: Italdesign Columbus (1992)

Fri, 21 Dec 2012

Following the success of large MPVs such as the Renault Espace and Chrysler Voyager, the idea of adding luxury to the already spacious interior seemed like a natural step forward in the early nineties. A few would remember the De la Chapelle Parcours, a sort of hyper-luxurious Espace powered by a 326bhp V8 from Mercedes. However, they only sold one.

Mini may drop Paceman, Coupe, and Roadster

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

Mini may discontinue the Paceman, Coupe, and Roadster models as it seeks to trim its lineup, following the introduction of the third-generation Mini Cooper three-door Hardtop. Instead, the company plans to focus on three "pillar" models: the Hardtop, the Countryman, and the Clubman. The third model, the Clubman, is technically still speculative as the company presented a Clubman only in concept form at the Geneva Motor Show last week, but given the amount of real-world testing of Clubman prototypes observed, coupled with the production-ready appearance of the Clubman Concept, this model is virtually assured to reach production in its current form.
