Thu, 21 Nov 2013Nissan Nissan picked the Los Angeles show to reveal a pumped-up Juke Nismo RS version of its popular shrunken crossover. This is the US-spec Nismo RS and changes are likely to be made before it went on sale in the UK, according to officials in LA. The car you see here will go on sale in America in December 2013 and it's likely to jump over the Pond in 2014.

Vettel managed to start from pole and end up on the top step after the chequered flag. Team mate Mark Webber didn’t fare so well. From a poor start – where he seemed to be going backwards when everyone else was going forwards – he had a shunt and a half when he drove in to the back of Heikki Kovalainen’s Lotus at close on 200mph, flipped his car and ran off in to the tyre wall.

Thu, 20 Oct 2011Ron Dennis apologises to McLaren MP4-12C owners A couple of weeks ago we reported that McLaren was having some teething problems with their new MP4-12C but weren’t, despite reports to the contrary, halting production. The problems seemed to be mainly software related, with issues including warning lights flashing on and battery drainage issues, which seemed to be because the MP4-12C’s electronics didn’t turn off when the car was halted. But it seemed McLaren were working on the issues with the same sort of zeal we’ve come to recognise from their F1 programme, no doubt spurred on by the wrath of Ron Dennis.
