Up for bid is vintage chrome handheld 12 VDC spotlight with GE glass lens in good overall condition (see PICs). The spotlight measures 8" long and has a 4" diameter solid glass lens (see PICs). Please note that the cord use cut by the previous owner and will need to be replaced (see PICs). According to the previous owner, the light was in working condition before the power cord was damaged and removed. The filament is in tact, but has not been tested with power. This light was discovered at an estate sale in southern California and being listed based on information I received form the previous owner and my Internet research. Open-sourcing your patents is a rather unusual strategy in the automotive world but Musk says that ‘Tesla Motors was created to accelerate the advent of sustainable transport. If we clear a path to the creation of compelling electric vehicles, but then lay intellectual property landmines behind us to inhibit others, we are acting in a manner contrary to that goal.
