THIS MOTOR DOES TURN FREE AND HAS COMPRESSION - WILL NEED  RESTORATION - OR USE FOR PARTS   - - -  I HAVE NEVER HEARD THIS MOTOR RUN

THIS OUTBOARD IS VERY UGLY BUT EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKS GOOD - SHOWING USE AND AGE AND NEGLECT

PROP TURNS - ENGINE TILTS UP - ENGINE PIVOTS SIDE TO SIDE - FROM WHAT I CAN TELL EVERYTHING SEEMS TO MOVE PROPERLY

SOME PARTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED BUT I HAVE THE PARTS AND THEY APPEAR TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION

LOOKS TO BE A GREAT MOTOR TO RESTORE

I CAN NOT READ THE NUMBERS BUT I WAS TOLD BY THE PRIOR OWNER THAT IT IS A 1959 35HP

THE ENGINE COVER IS THE UGLIEST PART BUT IT IS SOLID AND STRAIGHT AND COMPLETE - STRIPPING AND REPAINT WOULD CHANGE ITS ENTIRE IMAGE

THIS ENGINE SEEMS TO BE  COMPLETE / VERY STRAIGHT / VERY SOLID

I THINK IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE USED FOR PARTS, BUT THAT IS YOUR CHOICE

I DO NOT KNOW ITS HISTORY AND DO NOT KNOW ITS PRIOR WORKING CONDITION

GM stops Chevy Volt production to trim inventory

General Motors will idle the Detroit-area assembly plant that builds the Chevrolet Volt for more than a month to curb rising inventories of the plug-in hybrid. On March 1, GM told 1,300 workers at its Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant in Michigan that it will shut down production for five weeks, starting the week of March 19. GM plans to resume production on April 23, spokesman Chris Lee said.
