Remove jumper plug and install adapter. Turn on radio and scan the dial for a blank quiet spot usually at the front or back of the dial. Play auxiliary. Unplug the 3.5mm plug at the mp3 ipod etc. and go back to playing the radio its that simple.  Thanks for looking and good luck.
