GRAB RAIL PIECES FOR VINTAGE BOAT for  3/4 inch bar, 1Pair

Straight from the boat yard.

This came off a vintage boat. Most likely a Chris Craft, Owens, Stephens. Missing inner bar but the brass housings are all there. The piece is in great shape and heavy brass. I have not stripped it or blasted it. I'm letting you figure out what finish you want. 3 1/4 inch high base is 2 1/4 inch wide.

BMW i3 EV only scores 4 stars in Euro NCAP test The new BMW i3 is selling well and looks to be a good buy if you do lots of driving in congested urban environments. It offers a decent amount of proper BMW goodness and probably has enough range – even without the optional range-extender engine – to cover most urban drivers’ daily needs. But it seems there is one area the i3 doesn’t come up trumps and that’s for safety – in particular pedestrian safety – scoring a disappointing four stars in the latest round of Euro NCAP testing.

CDN and Opel/Vauxhall launch Interactive Design Competition

Opel/Vauxhall today asks students: "What do you think is our lounge style?" as part of a new, interactive design competition being launched with Car Design News. The competition is for students studying at design schools (of any discipline) in Europe, and will be in two stages: Stage 1 is the interior, and then Stage 2 the exterior. It culminates in a display of the work of the finalists and announcement of the two winners at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011.
