STRAINER FOR VINTAGE BOAT

Straight from the boat yard.

This came off a vintage boat. Most likely a Stephens, Chris Craft or Owens. Bilge strainer or pump strainer or upper deck strainer. The piece is in great shape and heavy brass. I have not stripped it or blasted it. I'm letting you figure out what finish you want. It fits a 2 inch i.d. hose. The hole patterns in the strainer vary. I included a photo showing the difference. If you want just one please specify which one.

Toyota GT86 gets 325bhp from Gazoo Racing – again

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

Toyota’s renegade Gazoo Racing are teasing another Toyota GT86 with 325bhp – the GRMN FR Sports Concept Platinum – for the Tokyo Auto Salon. There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding the Toyoya GT 86 (and the Subarua BRZ too) and the likelihood that it will get forced induction at some point to offer a chunk more power than its standard 197bhp. It’s always seemed likely that Toyota and Subaru would add a supercharger or turbo (or both) to their cars to give a properly powerful option.

Autoweek in review: What you might have missed

Fri, 20 Apr 2012

Word broke this week that the next generation of the Ford Mustang, due in 2014, will have a design similar to the Evos concept shown at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It's a move away from the retro styling that the pony car has had since 2005. Dodge revealed prices for the Dart, which is expected to go on sale in June.
