Up for bids is a new pair of vintage style chrome fender or door mounted mirrors, left and right, complete with hardware. The inside edge of the mirror head is ribbed like some original and old Yankee mirrors for that retro look. The heads and bases are plastic. These have thick/wide mounting bases. They can be added to most any car. The mounting brackets should fit most existing bolt patterns up to 3-1/2" apart. The hardware and mounting brackets are contained within the bases. New Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition kicks off new Qashqai sales The new Nissan Qashqai has only just been revealked, and Nissan are starting sales in the UK and Europe with a special, high spec limited edition Qashqai – the Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition. The Qashqai Premier is limited to 2007 cars – denoting the year the Qashqai was originally launched – and will be available only to existing Nissan customers. The Qashqai Premier gets based on the Tekna spec but gets extra equipment.

CDN and Opel/Vauxhall launch Interactive Design Competition

Opel/Vauxhall today asks students: "What do you think is our lounge style?" as part of a new, interactive design competition being launched with Car Design News. The competition is for students studying at design schools (of any discipline) in Europe, and will be in two stages: Stage 1 is the interior, and then Stage 2 the exterior. It culminates in a display of the work of the finalists and announcement of the two winners at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011.
