Why you will buy these mirrors over others listed on Ebay:

1.  Because this is NOT junk;

2.  If you don't like them, you can write me within the week and return them;

3.  You aren't going to get gigged on postage, your price is the USPS price;

4.  I have one of the highest seller ratings on Ebay for these types of purchases;

5.  You'd rather do business with someone that isn't motivated solely by profit, but understands a hand-shake is your word, and a "good deal" is a two-way street.

6.  You won't have to dig around looking for the right tool for installation, because I'm going to send you the right size allen wrench plus a rubber protection pad ...for free!

I CAN SAVE YOU MONEY ON SHIPPING ON THIS AUCTION AND OTHERS!  BE SURE TO READ MY "SHIPPING RANT" BELOW!

This is for a set of two (2) brand new, still in the box, side mount clip-on mirrors (NOT NOS; aftermarket) for your vintage vehicle.  All chrome.  Mirror face is four (4) inches diameter.  Mirror arm is 6 inches, and allows mirror to rotate out as far as 8 inches.  Mirrors install my clamping onto the outer edge of the door frame (see photos, my old mirrors are hanging on the door...new ones installed directly behind...new mirrors have a blueish plastic film still attached to protect the finish from scratches...just didn't want you to think it was a cheap finish...it isn't!)....now, I own a 1949 Jeepster...my biggest regret during the restoration process was installing some side mirrors, which required me to drill a brand new hole in the bright shiny paint of my car door....shesshh...the only thing I gained was two holes in my car!  For one thing the passenger side mirror is useless anyway on the Jeepster...it is hanging on the car for cosmetic design reasons...to give a "balanced appearance" to the look of the vehicle....from the driver's seat....you have to view it through the passenger's side wing vent window!  The only way I was able to get any utility out of it was to put one of those adhesive convexed mirrors on it...and even then it is not very helpful...so you can imagine how disappointed I was to have drilled a hole in my door!  So don't do it...use these clip-on mirrors!

Satisfaction?...Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones keeps yelling that he can't get any, but heh...Mick has yet to buy anything from me on Ebay.  If you're not happy, send it back within the week for a refund.

 How about a "good deal"?

 In my opinion, or at least how I was raised, a "good deal" is when both parties are satisfied with the transaction....not when someone takes advantage of another person.  So that's where I'm coming from...I don't sell on Ebay to make a living...if you don't like it, send it back within the week for a refund.  Finally, check out my feedbacks for unbiased testimonials from customers...it isn't hard to have close to 300 transactions with a 99.9% positive rating when you treat folks right...heck the one guy who wasn't happy would have been smiling had he extended the courtesy to contact me...and get this, I'm over 50 years old and my mom went digging through all my feedbacks just to find out why that one customer wasn't satisfied!  Shesshh, I thought I was going to get grounded or something!  Come on mom...99.9%!  Anyway, I'll work hard to keep you and my mom happy.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo gets 400bhp

Tue, 16 Oct 2012

Hyundai in the US has created a Veloster for this year’s SEMA show – the Hyundai Velocity – with a 400bhp Cosworth makeover. SEMA show cars are always extreme and always completely over the top, but they do show just what can be done with mainstream cars when car makers are let off the leash of marketing constraints. This year Hyundai is out playing, and as well as creating a Genesis Coupe with Cosworth power they’ve also taken the new Hyundai Veloster Turbo and created a 400bhp monster SEMA car.

Lexus IS (2013) more details of new 3-series rival

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

Lexus has pulled the cloth back on the all-new Lexus IS at the 2013 Detroit motor show, and announced more details of its new hybrid 3-series rival. This will be the first hybrid Lexus IS, and UK sales will start in summer 2013.  What do we know about the new hybrid Lexus IS?  The IS300h combines an electric motor with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. The torque output is yet to be confirmed, but there's 217bhp and Lexus is aiming for a sub-100g/km CO2 output and fuel consumption of at least 65mpg. Figures like that are likely to grab the attention of fleet managers, as Lexus hopes to close the gap on rivals like the BMW 3-series, Mercedes C-class and Audi A4.  There's a non-hybrid model too, but this IS250 will be powered by a 204bhp 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine. It won't be a fleet favourite.  The IS250h has a six-speed automatic transmission, the IS300h has a CVT gearbox, and both cars are rear-wheel drive.
