VINTAGE DEIST SAFETY NHRA DRAG RACING FIRE SUIT JACKET & PANTS. Jacket is XL. Pants are L. I bought this drag racing outfit from a gentleman that use to race. I am not claiming it to be effective nor recommending it to be used for racing and safety. I bought it because I thought it looked cool and had some good nostalgic history behind it. It is used and does have wear. The pants are more faded than the jacket. For the jacket, I took measurements from armpit to armpit and length. For the pants, I measured inseam and waist. Please see those measurements in the pictures. Also use the pictures to help determine condition. Check out the other cool items in my store! Exhibition: Taxis of the World
Tue, 11 Nov 2008The 'Taxis du Monde' exhibit recently held at the Paris Motor Show displayed a total of 40 taxis from 20 cities around the world, illustrating the evolution and diverse needs of the past, the present and even the future. Renault’s Type AG from 1913 is one historical example. One of the first Parisian taxis, it became known as the “Taxi of the Marne” after 1300 examples transported 6000 men to head off the German army in the first world war.
