This vintage bow light would be the perfect finishing touch to your restoration, or just display it! Judging from the intact paint around the mounting holes it looks like this light was never mounted, but it does show some shelf wear. I picked this up for a restoration project but went in another direction, my plan was to convert this to 12 volt LED bulbs instead of the original battery power which would be an easy conversion. Uses a "D" battery in each side. As you can see from the phot of the interior there is no corrosion, missing parts, etc.

Young drivers at risk from poor tyre care
Wed, 06 Nov 2013YOUNG DRIVERS are putting their lives at risk by not looking after their cars’ tyres. A survey by Tyresafe and insurer Ingenie has found that more than a third of young drivers aged 18-25-years old had never checked their tyres for tread depth and a quarter had not checked the tyres on their car for correct pressure ever. The survey found that better education is needed to tell young drivers of the important of looking after the tyres on their car.
Mazda to recall more than 500,000 vehicles
Thu, 19 Aug 2010Mazda plans to recall about 514,000 vehicles to repair power-steering systems that fail suddenly. The recall will affect the Mazda 3 and the Mazda 5 manufactured in Japan from 2007 to 2008, according to a report in Reuters. Currently, Mazda has filed recalls for 215,000 vehicles in the United States and more than 10,000 in China.
Ford adds 4.5 million vehicles to recall
