Here is a very clean used lower unit gear housing.  This is from inventory of an old dealer that has closed. My research says this was original equipment on 40hp Merc 402's Ser. #3474578-4362214.  on  50hp Merc 500's between #3478003 and 4357639, and on 65hp Merc 650's Ser# 3547987-4382056.  It has the casting number 1643-4930 in the valley ahead of the trim tab bolt.  This has not been available from the maker for a very long time, and last available version sold for $789.15.  Here is a rare chance to own a nice replacement.  I entered a low starting price and no reserve.  Thanks for looking and bidding.

Held in the backstreets of Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula and free to enter, The Little Car Show sees around 100 cars gathered to celebrate being small.

Italy auctions government cars

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

OFFERS started rolling in on unneeded government Alfa Romeo, Lancia and BMW cars, which prime minister Matteo Renzi is auctioning off on eBay as a sign of his seriousness in tackling government waste. Renzi has pledged to sell 151 vehicles by April 16, saying he was taking a cue from the former mayor of Florence - himself - who auctioned off four cars early in his term. Besides cashing in, the government will save on upkeep, maintenance and running costs.
