Offered for auction is this set of 4 14" (actual diameter around 14.5") hubcaps for a late 1970's or early 1980's Volkswagen. I'm familiar with these as optioned on the early 1980's Rabbit, although the person I got them from said they came from a Dasher. Nice shape - some curb scratches on a couple of the hubcaps (see photos). On the reverse there are 4 clips per hubcap but on one a clip is missing. I think the other three will do it well but I wanted to be thorough. A great set of hard to find pieces!
Offered for auction is this lovely vintage Dansk Kobenstyle Large Sauce Pot in Yellow - Very clean interior. Looks to have had little use. Underside quite clean and shows that this piece was made in France. There are a few spots of enamel loss on the interior of the rim of the lid. That's about it though in terms of condition issues. A great piece that we are sorry to see go! diameter is 9.75 inches by 5 inches tall. I accept PayPal, and personal checks (up to 10 day wait for check to clear before shipping). Hyundai global design teams develop 'My Baby' internal project contest ideas
Thu, 04 Jul 2013Hyundai has revealed the designs submitted for its 'My Baby' global internal design project. The project – a biennial contest that started in 2008 – asked the carmaker's design teams to use ‘new thinking' to preview a future without technological or manufacturing limits. Hyundai designers from bases in Korea, the USA, China, Japan, Europe and India were also tasked with reinterpreting and developing the carmaker's ‘Fluidic Sculpture' design language.

As we say every time Koenigsegg jumps in to vision with another bonkers car or speed feat, we’re amazed at just what a handful of men with beards (except Christian von Koenigesgg – who doesn’t seem to have a hair to his name) can do from a shed in the snow of Sweden. What makes Koenigsegg even more impressive is that it’s not just that they produce a stunning looking hypercar, but that they do it all themselves.
New Infiniti DX (Etherea) based on Mercedes platform to be built by Magna Steyr
Mon, 19 Dec 2011The new Infiniti DX is to be built in Europe by Magna Steyr It’s reported that Canadian-Austrian specialists Magna Steyr will build the new Infiniti DX Etherea from Mercedes A-Class components. It looks like the plans by Infiniti to build a production model of the Etherea Concept from this year’s Geneva Motor Show are pushing ahead, with reports that Magna Steyr – the Canadian Austrian specialist car builders – tasked with putting together what we expect to be the Infiniti DX. The DX is Infiniti’s big gun in its aim to take 10 per cent of global luxury car sales by 2016.
