THIS INTAKE WAS BOLTED ON A DISPLAY ENGINE IN THE MID 70'S IN A SPEED SHOP AND NEVER FIRED UP. AS GOOD AS NEW ONLY HAS SOME MARKS WHERE BOLTS WHERE AT, NO STUCK GASKETS AND HAS ORIGINAL BOX. All 50 copies of the 50th Anniversary Shelby Cobra Street Car sold out within 48 hours of its official introduction, Shelby American said on Monday. The car was unveiled during the Barrett-Jackson Auction on Jan. 21 in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Button Confirmed For Festival Of Speed

IT’S BEEN announced that 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button will return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 26-29, where he is expected to provide one of the event’s star attractions. Button is no stranger to the Festival of Speed and has attended 14 times previously, driving machinery as diverse as a 1970 Can-Am McLaren M8D, a P1 supercar and Alain Prost’s 1986 title-winning grand prix car. This year, McLarens attending the event include M23, MP4/2 and MP4-26 Formula 1 machines.

Thirty lucky kids learned to drive classic cars at the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, Mich., on Friday in celebration of Collector Car Appreciation Day. Hagerty Insurance partnered with local classic-car owners for the inaugural event, which aimed to foster an interest in vintage cars among young drivers and to introduce them to manual transmissions. Hagerty said today's teens rarely have access to manuals, since about 90 percent of new cars have automatic transmissions.
