This buy it now is for ONE NEW MAGNESIUM 16 x 11 wheel. We are excited to bring back the rare deep barrel magnesium 16 x 11 wheel made famous from the drag strips to the Indianapolis 500. Available on special order in 16 x 11, 16 x 10 and 16 x 8, all with a 3.0" backspacing as original, with the width differences strictly in the front barrel. This classic wheel, with the unique deep barrel design, the smooth and a thick front and rear lip was typically a bolt on, although Smokey Yunick ran these on his side car at Indy in a pin drive, knock off configuration. Please note that this is a special order wheel and you need to contact us for the time required to make it. Unlike modern specialty wheel companies who sell ( Chinese ? ) wheels out of their home office and have no ability to adapt or custom tailor products, we can machine our wheels for knock off or for almost any five lug, bolt on design and make the hubs and adapters for almost any vehicle. Also pictured is a custom hub and a rear hub adapter for a one off, Ray Kinney built roadster using our wheels. Our hubs are forged in the USA ( not cast, imported junk ) from American 4340 steel, heat treated, crack checked and shot peened for stress relief. The finest hubs on the market. Also pictured is a Halibrand Engineering replica 16 x 6 Indy Novi wheel with Dow 7 finish from 1962.

We are Vintage Engineering, LLC. WE have been designing and manufacturing racing parts since 1980. All of our wheels are for racing / off road use only. Buyer / user accepts all liability.

For now the car maker isn’t giving much away, although it has revealed that the new car will be a five-door model.
