Color:Rust Material:Metal Maker:Un Known

Two old explosion proof glass globe safety cages measuring about 7 3/8ths inches high with a 3 3/4 inch diameter open end showing rust and patina but still in usable condition. These are the wire cages that are commonly seen in industrial areas, warehouses and along train routes. Good replacements for a missing or damaged cage and according to one local rat rod owner make great 20 oz soda bottle holders. No kidding he has two mounted on his dash using a homemade bracket mount. You gotta think out of the box when you own a Rat Rod right ! You live there, I ship there, ask questions, not returnable and thanks for the view.

Cadillac issues XTS recall over fire risk

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

Cadillac is recalling approximately 63,900 XTS sedans over an issue with the brake booster pump. The company believes that the brake booster pump can create positive pressure inside the wiring harness which is attached to the pump relay, and this pressure can dislodge a cavity plug in the relay and allow corrosive elements to enter the connector, creating a resistive short. Cadillac believes that this could lead to overheating and melting of plastic components, and may cause a fire in the engine compartment.

Saab has taken the wraps off the long-awaited new 9-4X crossover. And when we say long-awaited, we mean heavily delayed; this Swedish crossover has been in the pipeline for years. Based heavily on a US-spec Cadillac SUV and built in Mexico, the 9-4X betrays its old-school General Motors roots: the 296bhp 2.8-litre V6 petrol present from the Insignia is present and correct, allied to Saab’s own XWD four-wheel drive system.
