Condition:Seller refurbished

Positively no international shipping

As seen by my ebay handle, I collect and repair these old units. I refinished the case to the original Federal grey white speckle finish.  Includes printed instructions.  The face is lighted and the red jeweled pilot light when you turn on the unit. It required several new capacitors and output transistors (the transistors are not cheap by any means)  to put it in tip- top shape just as it was back in the 1970's, all functional tones work fine and the mike / pa has good volume. Comes with steel bracket and stainless steel case mounting 1/4 -20 screws.  See my other auction if you need a PA speaker.  If you are restoring an old police car, ambulance, hearse / combination or fire unit you need this. I know this unit is expensive, this unit is well worth the dollars for a tested and working unit.  You will see other auctions on these ....buying from me you are not buying rusty junk from someone's garage that may or may work ....guaranteed to work and tested before shipping.   If you need better pics of the front panel  let me know  ( I try to not show the face of the unit in pics for obvious ebay reasons).   A very clean unit that will make the inside of your restoration vehicle look incredible.....plus it works. Very loud.   You can wire up any modern 100 watt PA trumpet or Federal Dynamax speaker and it works just fine as it does here in my shop.  Don't try to use a small / lower wattage speaker ( lower than 58 watts) as you will blow the speaker coil.

If you have an old blue face or brown face Federal siren that needs electronic service / repair,  or if you like the outside re-finished case and need yours cleaned, sanded, and painted in the Federal speckled white gray finish shown send me an email. thanks

Mini coupe JCW (2011) CAR review Mini Roadster (2012) first official pictures After the endless teaser stories and photos of cars wearing vestigal disguise, Mini has finally released full details of its cut down, uglied-up two-seat Coupe. The fifth – and most ludicrous - Mini shape comes in Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper SD and John Cooper Works forms and, according to BMW, promises to reward keen drivers with ‘a level of handling and agility unmatched in the small car segment’. We think current champs RenaultSport might have something to say about that.

BMW i3 Coupe Concept revealed

Tue, 27 Nov 2012

BMW has revealed the i3 Coupe Concept ahead of its debut at this week’s Los Angeles Auto Show, a 3-door version of the BMW i3. But what is clear is that BMW see a big future in small, economical city cars and the BMW i3 Coupe Concept is a slightly odd effort to inject a bit more flair in to the yet-to-arrive BMW i3. The i3 Coupe Concept is a plug-in EV with a maximum output of 170hp and an almost disappointing (for an electric motor) 174lb/ft of torque, which delivers drive to the back wheels through a single speed transmission (as you would expect for an EV).
