This is a OEM 1963 Ford Mirror C3AB-17743 with the Ford emblem on it from dry storage in dry New Mexico.  It is in decent usable condition with no pitting.  The chrome is shiny, bright and reflective.  There  is nothing broken or bent on this and  the mounting holes look good.  The glass reflects well with a little discoloration around the very edges, nothing very noticeable. A decent mirror that can go right on a vehicle.   However, when this was being used on a vehicle someone over swiveled the head so the base contacted the back of the mirror so there are imperfections in the chrome around the swivel ball in the center.  I have tried to show this in the last photo but the bright reflective surfaces makes it hard to see so please look closely at the photos. Buyer pays actual shipping cost with no handling charges and I will combine shipping when possible.  Please email any questions or comments.  Thanks for looking.

Jaguar F-Type fleet in Union Jack livery promote ‘Best of British’

Mon, 12 Aug 2013

A fleet of ‘Union Jack’ Jaguar F-Types (pictured) are touring the UK It all started with Top Gear’s ‘Best of British’ line-up of all things British Automotive on the Mall back in June, which aired a week ago as the finale to Series 20 of Top Gear. That piece was put together on the back of Top Gear’s testing of the new Range Rover Sport and the new Jaguar F-Type, with Top Gear managing to drag all manner of motorised vehicles to the Mall to celebrate proper British success. With the Jaguar F-Types sitting proudly at the front of the assembled ‘Best of British’, Jaguar’s PR machine wisely decided there was mileage in the whole ‘Best of British’ thing, so they’ve launched a competition with the hashtag #YourTurnBritain.

Mercedes will show the Concept Style Coupe at the 2012 Beijing motor show next week. It's a thinly veiled look at a compact coupe spun off the Merc A-class architecture - likely to wear the CLA badge. In essence this is our first look at the shrunken, baby CLS Daimler plans to launch in 2013 - and the CLA production version will be priced around £20,000.
