Vintage Ford Motor Co. Unity H1 Spotlight Fomoco Logo Hot Rat Rod Custom on 2040-parts.com
New Plymouth, Ohio, US
Here is a Unity H1 spotlight that was a genuine Ford accessory as it has the FoMoCo logo on the tag. I bought it from an old gentleman at a yard sale, complete with the 30 minute story about his old Ford that it was on, he even went in the house and brought out a picture of the car it was on. It was worth every second to hear the tale and see the gleem in his eye as he told me about the Ford and his good times with it. I am listing the light for parts or restore as I no nothing of its working condition except the switch feels like it should and the handle seems to move it. It shined up fairly well but it is pitted and has a ding here and there. I just thought it was neat, even if you use it for garage wall art as a reminder of days gone by. S&H $8.50, I ship to the 48 states only. Thanks for looking!!

First Dacia Duster SUVs leave India bound for the UK
Fri, 30 Nov 2012The first Dacia Duster SUVs built in RHD for the UK market left India this morning to help satisfy Renault’s growing order book for the Duster. With the sort of response the Duster has received in the UK – with prices for the entry-level Duster starting at just £9k – Renault are no doubt wishing they’d brought the Duster to the UK sooner. But such was the demand for the Duster in mainland Europe and emerging markets that they just couldn’t get production of RHD Dusters organised for the UK until now, when Renault’s plant at Oragadam, near Chennai in India, finally managed to satisfy its home market demand sufficiently to leave enough capacity for RHD cars bound for the UK and Ireland to roll off the production line.

The bank's logo has adorned the blue cycles since their introduction three years ago.But Transport for London (TfL) will be forced to look for a new sponsor after Barclays announced plans to discontinue with the deal at the end of its contract in 2015. The bikes were launched amid much fanfare in August 2010, with nearly a million journeys made within the first 10 weeks of the scheme being rolled out.
Chrysler PT Cruiser hits the end of the road this summer
Mon, 19 Jan 2009One of the original retro cars, the Chrysler PT Cruiser, is getting the ax. Production ends this summer, Chrysler president Tom Lasorda confirmed last week. With its sinister styling that drew comparisons to 1930s gangster rides, the PT Cruiser was a hit when it was launched in 2000.
