Up for Sale is: One Four Cam Ford Indy Racing Engine Complete Front Gear Train Cover Gasket Set. Made from .010" Thick steel that is Rubber Coated for better sealing of the Front Gear Cover to the Rear Cover. Included are all 4 Gaskets that are needed to seal the Front Gear Cover. We have had these made by Cometic Gaskets just for the Indy Four Cam Ford Racing Engine. Engine in photos is shown for reference Only, it is not included with Gasket purchase. I recommend a very thin layer of High Temp RTV on both surfaces when installing the front cover on the engine. Guaranteed you will be happy with your purchase. Mon, 17 Feb 2014The 2014 Volkswagen Scirocco (pictured) gets a facelift Before you get too excited, the 2014 Volkswan Scirocco isn’t a nice new version of the Scirocco based on the new Golf Mark 7, but a minor titivate designed to make the ageing Scirocco look a little fresher. Volkswagen has employed the usual facelift tweaks to make the 2014 Scirocco look subtly different to the current model with new bumpers, modified grill, new bi-xenons, new LED tail lights and black diffuser at the back. There’s also a new range of colours on offer and, although the standard Scirocco gets 17″ alloys, you can option 18 and 19″ too.
PRE-WAR CARS MAY GET MOT TEST EXEMPTION
Thu, 10 Oct 2013PRE-WAR vehicles may have their requirement for an annual MoT test removed, it has been suggested. A meeting between Transport Minister Mike Penning and members of the All Party Parliamentary Historic Vehicles Group, led by Lord Montagu of Beaulieu, has resolved to address the issue. The extremely low accident rate for such vehicles, the vast majority of which are kept in pristine condition by avid collectors, means there is little need for a MoT test, the group argued.
