Vettel enjoys title toast
Thu, 31 Oct 2013WORLD CHAMPION Sebastian Vettel has revealed he celebrated his fourth successive drivers' title with an impromptu night in his hotel bar before spending some time at home in quiet contemplation of his achievements. Vettel did not have too much time to bask in the glory of yet another all-conquering championship season as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix follows just seven days later but he did admit the team spent a little while in the bar following the race win at the Buddh International Circuit. "Obviously it was a great relief when I crossed the line on Sunday," he said.
Range Rover Sport Stealth Pack (2014) first photos
Mon, 16 Jun 2014By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 16 June 2014 11:14 Land Rover has tacitly admitted that Range Rover Sport buyers are different to Range Rover customers: the Stealth Pack unveiled today is a personalisation programme which makes RRS models stand out from the crowd. But then that's always been the way with the Range Rover Sport, the model that likes to show off a little more than its more restrained big brother.
Audi R8 e-tron killed off for production – again
Tue, 28 May 2013It’s more than six months since we reported that Audi were planning to kill off any production plans for the electric R8 e-Tron, with Audi’s head of R&D saying the production plans for the R8 were going to be scrapped. And it seems they have now gone in the bin. Autocar are reporting that Audi has confirmed to them that the R8 e-Tron won’t be going in to production and the ten latest e-Trons to be built will be used just for testing and development to help Audi with its ‘electrification’ plans, which will now almost certainly concentrate on plug-in hybrids and range extenders, rather than EVs.
