Here we have a Vintage Racing Jacket that is from the personal collection of the Very Famous former Head of the Speciality Vehicle Division of General Motors ~ JON MOSS! This Particular Jacket is embroidered on the front with a Red Chevy Bowtie with crossed Checkered Flags Logo along with Genuine Chevrolet and on the back of the Jacket it is Blank. It was made on a Holloway Jacket and is a size XL. Coming from Jon's personal collection this Jacket was well taken care of and probably only worn 1 or 2 times (if ever) at the event it was given to him and then it has been sitting in his basement ever since making this a VERY Unique Item! Some of the Jackets I will be offering here were VERY LIMITED EDITION to begin with and some were made for the Important people at each particular event and were generally NOT AVAILABLE to people outside this inner circle and NOT to the Public! I am unsure which ones are the Rarest ones but I am offering them all here for sale. Now you may be asking yourself, just Who is Jon Moss? I did some investigating and found out that he had his hand in some of the GREATEST Vehicles ever to come out of the GM Special design team. His BIGGEST claim to fame in my book is his Concept Vehicle that later became the 1994-1996 Impala SS. That is just the tip of the iceberg from what he has done. 2014 (or is it 2015?) Ford Mondeo to launch in UK & Europe late 2014
Fri, 31 Jan 2014The new Ford Mondeo will now arrive in the UK in late 2014 The story of the new Ford Mondeo for the UK Europe (which should have been the 2013 Mondeo but will end up as the 2014 or 2015 Mondeo) has been a bit tortuous. Despite the new Mondeo being on sale in the US as the Ford Fusion since summer 2012, and in China since summer 2013 (and the reveal of the production version of the Mondeo over two years ago and a set of new Mondeo photos too), Ford’s decision to shut up shop at Genk in Belgium – the Mondeo’s traditional manufacturing plant – meant there was no way to give Europe the new Mondeo. So we’ve had to wait for Ford to sort out production lines in Valencia to build the new Mondeo but now, according to Mark Ovenden – Ford’s UK boss – the new Mondeo will arrive in the third quarter of 2014 in the UK and Europe.
Lexus NX compact SUV production starts – first UK deliveries October 2014
Sat, 09 Aug 2014The first Lexus NX rolls off the production line We’re not entirely sure the new Lexus NX – revealed in production guise at the Beijing Motor Show in April - will be one of the most driver-focused compact SUVs, but it is a car that should see Lexus sales rise considerably. And the NX is now starting to roll off the production line at Lexus’s Miyata plant in Japan, and Lexus say they already have 6,500 orders for the NX in Japan, and a more modest 350 in the UK. The big seller in the UK – in the absence of a diesel NX – will be the NX 300h with its hybrid setup of a 2.5 litre petrol engine, electric motor and CVT gearbox, but despite promises of good economy (55.4mpg) the real world economy is likely to be significantly less, although its high headline economy will help BIK rates for business buyers.
