You are buying a used vintage Bug go kart. From what I have gathered from an expert that ran factory karts back in the day for Bug that it is a 1979 2nd generation Black Widow. Or possibly a Bug Lightning Bug. And supposedly there were on 10 Lightnings made. It has a 1" rear axle and 1/2" spindles. One of the original hubs is missing from the rear. Original fiberglass floor pan is not in the best condition. Of course it is missing the seat. Original Enginetics brake system has been removed and is listed in a separate auction. I'm going to Cuddebackville, NY Oct. 11. I can bring this with me at no cost to you. Just need to be bought and paid for before delivery.  Call me for any questions you might have. 609-513-0675. Ask for Chuck. Extra pictures upon request. I combine shipping. Check out my auctions for new international and american go kart and quarter midget barstool racer enduro racing parts and as always vintage go kart racing parts.

Ford KA sells 500,000 in the UK

Wed, 15 Jul 2009

Ford has racked up total sales of 500,000 KAs in the UK And despite a few reservations when we did our Ford KA Review a couple of months ago, it looks set to continue racking up the sales with the new KA, which has already racked up 11,000 sales in the UK since it was introduced. To be honest, our only real reservations on the new KA were a couple of subjective styling issues and the somewhat hard seats. But it is undoubtedly a funky and capable little car that will serve Ford well.
