Up for sale today is a pair of new front brake adapters for 5" wheels. They will fit Go-Power, Azusa, Nylite, IKS, Rupp, and McCulloch wheels that are 5" in dia. They are cut from 6061-T6 Alum. bar stock and duplicate the Hurst/Airheart cast aluminum adapters. Hardened drive pins from Spruce Aircraft are press fit into each boss. Sold in PAIRS. Also available are the corresponding discs for these from Gregs Speed Shop dot com    If you use these properly you won't have to let up so soon at the corners.
