Up for bid is a set of Vintage Goodyear Blue Streak Drag slicks from the 60's. The tires are 50 years old and are as found. They do have some dry rot on them (see pictures) so I would not run them. That being said, they would be good for a static display car, a garage decoration, car that doesn't race still, Hotrod man cave, or?? The tires are size 8.15 / 15 and are roughly 27 tall and 9 inch wide. Please refer to the pictures for condition. Any questions please ask. Infiniti's 2013 luxury EV: the teaser sketch
Mon, 27 Sep 2010Infiniti has released a teaser sketch of its upcoming electric vehicle. Revealed at the opening of Infiniti’s second UK dealership, at Piccadilly in London, the single image previews a ‘luxury’ EV that Infiniti promises will be launched in 2013. Underneath it’s essentially a Nissan Leaf, but as you can see from the sketch it won’t look like a re-nosed Nissan.
Honda Accord Hybrid boasts 50 mpg in 2014 model

This well-equipped Accord Hybrid will be offered with a choice of three different grades with a suggested retail price ranging from $29,945 to $35,695 including destination. The LX, Sport and EX/EX-L sedan models will feature an In-Line 4-Cylinder engine, as well as the LX-S, EX and EX-L coupe models.
CES: Cranking up Harman's QuantumLogic 3D surround-sound system
Wed, 09 Jan 2013Yesterday we reported how Audi was readying a lavish 3D sound experience with 23 speakers and 1,400 watts of goosebump-inducing audio power. Not to be outdone, Harman had been quietly developing a system of its own: Quantum Logic 3D brings together 25 speakers and more than 2,000 watts of Tubthumping power to a new car near you, like driving inside Phil Spector's Wall of Sound. Sitting inside the demonstration BMW 7-Series that Harman painstakingly lifted into the Studio at the Palms, Global Audio Engineering vice president Phil Muzio explained, "great music is delivered in stereo, yet our consumer research indicates that people enjoy surround sound." QuantumLogic 3D's surround sound expands beyond the boundaries of the vehicle's cabin, providing "a sense of detail and spatial placement that you don't get in stereo." Five height component speakers mounted in the corners of the headliner, and above the rearview mirror, elevates audio beyond the confines of the roof, "almost like you're in a convertible," said Muzio.
