Harley Gas Tank Cap/Cover

First, let me say that I am no expert on motorcycle parts, but I believe this is a vintage Harley gas tank cap or cover.
I came across this piece, but I don't know what type of bike or what style of tank it came from.  Please take
a good look at the photos to be sure that it will fit on your bike.

This one is all chrome on the top-no gold color.  It has been used before, so the chrome is a little pitted
and there are spots that are not shiny any more.  It has the Harley eagle, along with the phrase 'Live to Ride/Ride to Live', and underneath that
are the words: Harley-Davidson (r).

There is a nice coin edge to the cap.  It measures 3 inches across.

If there is anything you need to know which I haven't mentioned, please don't hesitate to drop me a note.

Thanks for looking!

First factory-built wheelchair-accessible vehicle hits the market

Fri, 23 Sep 2011

Before Wednesday, the only wheelchair-accessible vehicles available to the public were aftermarket conversions that generally came with structural modifications and a price tag ranging from $50,000 to $80,000. Now, a startup company called the Vehicle Production Group (VPG) has released the first vehicle specifically assembled to accommodate people in wheelchairs, with an MSRP of $39,950. The vehicle is called the MV-1, which stands for Mobility Vehicle 1, and it was built for the disabled community.

VW Phaeton returning to America as early as 2018

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

Though the Volkswagen Phaeton -- the brand's range-topping, understated luxury sedan -- disappeared from the United States market in 2006, never actually died. The tech-laden luxobarge is still offered overseas, and it has seen a number of revisions and updates since it was last offered here. Of course, much more has changed since 2006 than the Phaeton's front fascia.

Jaguar sports hatch is inspired by R-D6 concept

Tue, 27 Oct 2009

Jaguar plans to add a dramatically styled sports-hatch model to its lineup beginning in 2014. To be priced from about $60,000, the sports hatch on the drawing board was inspired by the R-D6 concept first shown at the 2003 Frankfurt motor show. The R-D6 design, which had been considered an ill fit for the brand's traditional sedan/sports-car image, is now gaining support at the highest levels of the company as it forges an independent future under Indian owner Tata.
