Vintage Hella Fog Light (mercedes, Porsche, Bmw, Volvo 123 Gt) on 2040-parts.com
Yorktown, Virginia, United States
For sale: one (1) 1960s vintage Hella fog light originally installed on a Mercedes Benz 280SE. The light's lens is marked "~~ K11145 002-94856-MADE IN GERMANY SF-S8." The interior of the light is also marked K11145. While this is a vintage part, it is in exceptional condition. Lens glass is almost perfect (no cracks, chips, or pitting). The chrome housing and retaining ring are in excellent condition. Even the silver plating on the reflector is in good shape. Tungsten bulb ("K5319 DR. G. FISCHER 12V 35W") checked good but is not guaranteed. Replacement bulbs are still available ("JAHN 12V 35 W" Porsche PN 900.631.130.90, ~ $3.00) Outer diameter is roughly 6 inches (~ 152mm). The light is similar to but slightly larger than the Hella 118 TN4 fog lights that were optional on the Porsche 911 (while this light looks good on the 911/912 it's not "concours correct"). It is also very similar to the fog light used on Volvo 123 GTs (PN 281052).Thanks for looking! |
