Condition:Used Brand:Hella Surface Finish:Chrome Manufacturer Part Number:K11145 Country/Region of Manufacture:Germany

For sale: one (1) 1960s vintage Hella fog light originally installed on a Mercedes Benz 280SE.  The light's lens is marked "~~ K11145 002-94856-MADE IN GERMANY SF-S8."  The interior of the light is also marked K11145.

While this is a vintage part, it is in exceptional condition.  Lens glass is almost perfect (no cracks, chips, or pitting).  The chrome housing and retaining ring are in excellent condition.   Even the silver plating on the reflector is in good shape.    Tungsten bulb ("K5319 DR. G. FISCHER 12V 35W") checked good but is not guaranteed.  Replacement bulbs are still available ("JAHN 12V 35 W" Porsche PN 900.631.130.90, ~ $3.00)

Outer diameter is roughly 6 inches (~ 152mm). The light is similar to but slightly larger than the Hella 118 TN4 fog lights that were optional on the Porsche 911 (while this light looks good on the 911/912 it's not "concours correct").  It is also very similar to the fog light used on Volvo 123 GTs (PN 281052).

Sun, 19 May 2013

Facelift for the 2013 BMW 5 Series We knew the next BMW News would be the arrival of a facelift for the 5 Series, especially after BMW accidentally previewed it with a configurator that went online too early. But now the 5 Series facelift is here, and what it lacks in real changes BMW has made up for in photos – they’ve sent us over 200 photos of the new 5 Series – Saloon, Touring and GT – maybe in the hope that a mass of photos will make us think the changes are extensive. They’re not.

Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE (2010) Review & Road Test

We Road Test the 2010 Range Rover Sport – on and off road It’s a remarkable 40 years this year since Land Rover introduced the world to its first luxury 4×4 – the Range Rover – and changed the car landscape forever. And despite many pretenders to its throne the Range Rover is still the ultimate SUV, and probably the only luxury 4×4 that is as at home in a field as it is on the Kings Road. But by the time the Range Rover passed its thirtieth birthday and we moved in to a new millennium it started to see challenges to its throne from more road-oriented SUVS.
