Bentley and Bugatti get a new boss

Volkswagen said Audi's former development chief, Wolfgang Duerheimer, will head its Bentley and Bugatti brands. It will be Duerheimer's second stint at Britain-based Bentley and France-based Bugatti. In February 2011, he took the helm at both brands for 19 months, succeeding retiring chief Franz-Josef Paefgen.

Infiniti announces M35h performance, CO2 figures

Infiniti has confirmed the official performance, emission and fuel consumption figures for its first hybrid, the M35h. The figures are impressive, too: the Infiniti M35h is quicker, cleaner and greener than its petrol or diesel siblings, and not far behind rivals like the BMW 5-series. Shorn of 100kg, the 1330kg Superleggera – Italian for ‘lightweight’ and pronounced ‘supahlejerah’ – has pulled the rug from under Ferrari, which will only unveil its F430 Challenge Stradale early next year.
