Good day. This auction is for a vintage hurst shifter, thinking for maybe a vw or muscle car, decent shape. This is being sold as is like always. PAYMENT we ask that payment be made after the auction is finished, we will ship within 2-3 business days from the time that payment is made. PLEASE NOTE ON THE SHIPPING, the post office rates went up quite a bit as of two months ago, if it will cost less to ship this after the shipping price, packing materials and insurance, we will be more than happy to refund the difference anywhere in the usa, we do try and ship items priority when we can, however the bigger items usually have to go parcel post because of the rates now. Thu, 20 Oct 2011Ron Dennis apologises to McLaren MP4-12C owners A couple of weeks ago we reported that McLaren was having some teething problems with their new MP4-12C but weren’t, despite reports to the contrary, halting production. The problems seemed to be mainly software related, with issues including warning lights flashing on and battery drainage issues, which seemed to be because the MP4-12C’s electronics didn’t turn off when the car was halted. But it seemed McLaren were working on the issues with the same sort of zeal we’ve come to recognise from their F1 programme, no doubt spurred on by the wrath of Ron Dennis.
T-Mobile offers service to block cell calls, text messages while driving
Thu, 20 Jan 2011The next step in the effort to keep people from using cell phones for calls and text messages while driving has arrived--a service that senses when the phone is moving at carlike speeds and automatically handles calls and messages. T-Mobile is providing the service, called DriveSmart, for its customers who use the LG Optimus T, a mobile phone that runs the Android operating system. T-Mobile says it will make the service available on other handsets soon.
