Nice, unusual original Instrument or Dash Panel INDICATOR LIGHT by Dial Company, New York.   Large size, about 1-1/2"  diameter, about 3-1/4" overall with about 1" of that to stand proud of dash mounting, and fits a 1-1/2" mounting hole.  Frosted dark red glass lens, matt nickel finish on metal.  All original mounting hardware is present. May be for civilian or military truck, aircraft, or ship applications possibly of the WW2 or Korean War eras.  Original unrestored condition is as shown, and we opened it up for photos so you would not have any surprises so please look closely at photos.  Interesting vintage part from the 1940's through 1960's time period.  Doubt that you will ever see another light like this.  Don't miss out on a rare chance for this authentic period indicator light !

Note that we have to estimate shipping weights and package sizes BEFORE we pack the item. BMW i-Ventures invest in ParkatmyHouse.com Earlier this year – when BMW launched their BMW-i Brand – there was also news of a new BMW company – BMW i Ventures – which BMW said they were setting up to invest in interesting stuff related to cars. BMW stated their goal as “…to expand the range of products and services offered by BMW i in the long term by taking stakes in highly innovative service providers”, and their first investment was in to an app business -  My City Way – which provides users with information on public transportation, parking availability, and local entertainment. BMW argue – very sensibly – that our fuel usage can be cut by using common sense and new technology.

The new Honda/Acura NSX (pictured) hits the track The new Honda NSX has been a decade or more in the making as Honda vacillated over whether or not to revisit their supercar odyssey with a a new NSX for the 21st century. But having shaken off the self-imposed shackles that made them believe a new Honda supercar in these more austere and ‘Green’ times would be anathema, Honda are finally powering forward with a new NSX. True, they’ve decided their new NSX needs to be’Green’ to be good, but the green-ness Honda are throwing at the new NSX actually gives it more power too, so we’re not complaining.

Toyota FT-86 and Subaru BRZ to launch next month

Toyota FT-86 (pictured) & Subaru BRZ to debut at Tokyo The road from concept to reality has been a long one for the Toyota FT-86 and Subaru BRZ. But the wait is almost over for the Toyota/Subaru joint development, with production-ready versions of the FT-86 and BRZ planned for the Tokyo Motor Show next month. The aim was to produce a sporty, fun coupe for under £20k, and although that still seems to be the general consensus we wouldn’t be surprised to see the FT-86 come in at around £25k and the more powerful BRZ getting close to £30k when they actually arrive in 2012.
