Here is a new genuine OMC recoil handle 334633 for Johnson and Evinrude outboards. This fits models from 5.5 to 25hp from the 1960s-90s, maybe others too. I have sold so many of these I've lost count! This is the newer version of most earlier grips (no longer available) that had Johnson or Evinrude emblems on them. One of these is shown installed on my own 1961 Evinrude 5-1/2hp, and it works nicely. Uses standard metal rope anchors 304323 or 325 which are not included, but I do have some of each. Here is a great opportunity to replace that cracked-up original part on your fine OMC outboard with a suitable piece. Your motor will thank you, and I know from experience that you will like the feel of a nice, new grip when firing her up! But in these strange, ‘Green’ times that doesn’t sit well with the public (or at least with car makers perception of what the public think) so car makers are looking to re-align their image. BMW has gone from the ‘Ultimate Driving Machine’ to ‘Joy’, and Mitsubishi wants us to think of it as a maker of fluffy-bunnie, eco-cars that do everything the buyer wants, but eat CO2 for breakfast and run on fresh air.
