Here is a new genuine OMC recoil handle 334633 for Johnson and Evinrude outboards. This fits models from 5.5 to 25hp from the 1960s-90s, maybe others too. I have sold so many of these I've lost count! This is the newer version of most earlier grips (no longer available) that had Johnson or Evinrude emblems on them. One of these is shown installed on my own 1961 Evinrude 5-1/2hp, and it works nicely. Uses standard metal rope anchors 304323 or 325 which are not included, but I do have some of each. Here is a great opportunity to replace that cracked-up original part on your fine OMC outboard with a suitable piece. Your motor will thank you, and I know from experience that you will like the feel of a nice, new grip when firing her up! SRT Motorsports Viper team ready for Le Mans return
Wed, 22 May 2013SRT is heading back to France with two identically prepared Viper GTS-Rs for the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 22-23. It will be the first time the marque has competed at the race since it won the GTS class three consecutive times, from 1998 to 2000. It will compete in the LM GTE Pro Class.
Saab reportedly bought by Chinese-led consortium
Fri, 08 Jun 2012A Chinese-controlled consortium has completed a deal to buy the assets of bankrupt Swedish carmaker Saab, media reports said. National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) will pay 1.5 billion to 1.8 billion kronor ($210 million to $250 million) for Saab, excluding spare parts company Saab Automobile Parts AB, according to reports in Sweden. NEVS did not confirm the reports.
Kia Pro_Cee’d GT Turbo teased
Mon, 26 Nov 2012The Kia Pro Cee’d GT – complete with the 1.6 litre petrol turbo from the Veloster with 200bhp – is being teased by Kia. We reported last month that Kia are planning to put the 200bhp, 1.6 litre Turbo from the Hyundai Veloster in to the new Pro_cee’d three door to create a hot little coupe, and now Kia has caught up with that news with the first tease for the Pro_cee’d GT. It’s probably best to take the teaser photo of the Pro_cee’d GT with a pinch of salt – it’s a typically extreme rendering of the car we’ll actually get – but it does demonstrate that Kia want to differentiate the Pro_cee’d GT from the more prosaic models.
